OPPO K13x 5G, which is being touted as one of the toughest smartphones, has been launched in India at Rs 11,999. OPPO has termed this smartphone as “rugged” as it is being powered by a 6000mAh large battery, which has been designed for five years of dependable use, with minimal battery degradation, retaining 80% of its original power. The OPPO K13x 5G hosts the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 mobile platform and is available in two colours namely Sunset Peach and Midnight Violet.

The OPPO K13x 5G is a compact and lightweight smartphone, measuring approximately 16.57 cm in height, 7.62 cm in width, and 0.79 cm in thickness, with a weight of about 194 grams. It comes in three configurations: 4GB, 6GB, or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM paired with 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage, with support for expandable storage via a phone storage card. The device features a 16.94 cm LCD display with an 89.9% screen-to-body ratio, HD+ resolution (1604 x 720 pixels), a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1000 nits, ensuring visibility in different lighting conditions.
The rear camera setup includes a 50MP wide-angle lens and a 2MP monochrome sensor, while the front camera offers 8MP resolution. Both cameras support various shooting modes, including dual-view video, slow-motion, and time-lapse. As mentioned earlier, OPPO K13x 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset with an octa-core CPU and ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, which ensures stable performance. Its 6000mAh battery supports 45W SUPERVOOC fast charging, providing efficient charging capabilities.
Biometric features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and facial recognition, complemented by other sensors like a proximity sensor, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and e-compass. The device supports dual nano-SIM cards and 5G connectivity across multiple frequency bands, along with Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, and USB Type-C connectivity. An earphone jack and cellular broadcast service are also included. The OPPO K13x 5G runs on ColorOS 15.0.1, offering a functional and user-oriented operating environment.
